Pharmacology:Pharmacodynamics  This product is a macrolide antibiotic. It has a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect and antibacterial activity against some Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Pathogens that cause respiratory diseases in pigs are particularly sensitive to this product, such as Actinobacteria pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophila parahaemolyticus, as well as hemolytic Mannheim bacteria and sleep tissue bacteria. The mechanism of action is to bind to the 50S subunit of the nucleosome of sensitive bacteria, inhibit the synthesis and elongation of peptide chains, and affect the synthesis of bacterial proteins.
Pharmacokinetics After intramuscular injection, the absorption of this product is rapid. After administration at the clinically recommended dosage, its peak time (Tmax) is about 0.5 hours, and the peak concentration (Cmax) is about 0.9 hours μ G/ml, elimination half-life t1/2 is about 100 hours.
Indication :Used for the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases in pigs caused by bacteria such as Actinobacteria pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Haemophilus parasuis, which are sensitive to Tildipirosin.
Usage and dosage:Based on the calculation of Tildipirosin. Intramuscular injection: One dose, 4mg per 1kg body weight for pigs (equivalent to 1ml per 10kg body weight injection). Only used once.
Adverse reactions
1. When the injection volume at each injection site exceeds 5ml, occasional swelling can be observed at the injection site.
2. In rare cases, piglets may experience temporary drowsiness, and individual animals may experience shock or even death.
Precaution
1.This product is prohibited for intravenous injection.
2.Strictly in accordance with the route of administration, the injection volume of a single injection site should not exceed 5ml.
3.It is forbidden to use in animals allergic to macrolide antibiotics or excipients.
4.This product should not be used in combination with other macrolide antibiotics or lincosamide antibiotics.
5. The safety of this product in pregnant and lactating animals has not been studied, and the results of known tests have not shown any evidence of developmental or reproductive effects.There is no evidence that this product has any effect on development or reproduction. It should be used after risk assessment by a licensed veterinarian according to the clinical situation.
