Main composition: Doxycycline Hydrochloride
Character: This product is yellow to brownish yellow clarified liquid.
pharmacologic action:
Tetracycline antibiotics. By reversibly binding to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, doxycycline interferes with the formation of ribosome complex between tRNA and mRNA, prevents the extension of peptide chain and inhibits protein synthesis, so that the growth and reproduction of bacteria are rapidly inhibited. Doxycycline can inhibit both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and has cross-resistance with oxytetracycline and chlortetracycline.
Indication :
Tetracycline antibiotics. For the treatment of Gram-positive, negative bacteria and mycoplasma caused by swine infectious diseases, such as mycoplasma pneumonia, escherichia coli, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and so on.
Usage and dosage:
Intramuscular injection: one dose, 0.5 ~ 1ml per 10kg body weight. It is used once a day for 2-3 days.
Adverse reactions
 (1) intramuscular injection can cause pain, inflammation and necrosis at the injection site. (2) the doxycycline has certain liver and kidney toxicity, excessive can cause serious liver damage, occasionally fatal kidney poisoning is visible
Precautions: (1) Use with caution in animals with serious damage to liver and kidney function. (2) due to this class of drugs through the placenta, in breast milk, so the pregnancy and lactation animals are prohibited.
